Adventure Camp is a full-day summer camp experience for children in grades K-6.
Other recreation positions/assignments include: Concessions (weekday evenings), Boys/Girls Small Fry (weekday evenings), and T-Ball (Saturday Mornings)
We are looking for camp staff who are eager to engage with campers and help give them a fun-filled and safe camp experience. Our staff will have all kinds of skills, abilities, and personalities. To be a camp that is inclusive and inviting for everyone we need a variety of staff to meet everyone’s needs. All applicants will get an interview with the Director of Recreation & Athletics. A second interview and/or hiring day will be announced at a later date.
Camp staff must be at least 15 years old by the beginning of staff training (May 15th). *Anyone interested in participating in camp, but not yet old enough to be employed can apply for a Counselor In Training role.*
responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with campers and other staff during camp activities.
- Enforce rules and camp policies to keep camper activities fun and safe.
- Help to run successful sports clinics, arts & crafts, and other camp activities.
- Make connections with campers and fellow staff members to create and maintain an inclusive and friendly camp atmosphere for all.
compensation & benefits
Pay rate varies based on Age and Experience.
