Special Recreation Sports
The Park District offers a variety of opportunities for Special Recreation players of all ages. Baseball, Kickball, and Basketball leagues include volunteer helpers and are designed to maximize the fun and experience for all special recreation players.

This is an organized baseball league for adults of any age. Players either hit from a tee or swing at a pitched ball. A buddy system will be in place for all players. Individuals with a physical or mental disability who cannot successfully participate in traditional ball programs are eligible to participate. A total of 6 games will be played. Individuals with a physical or mental disability who cannot safely or successfully participate in the traditional baseball/softball programs are eligible to participate.
