Youth Softball
Softball leagues are offered for Kindergarten through 11th grade girls. Leagues run from late May through mid-July, with games played at Evergreen Park.

T-Ball develops the primary baseball skills of hitting, fielding, and throwing. Official tee-balls are used and the bases are 50′. This is a coach-pitch/tee league and all games are played on Saturday mornings at 8:30, 9:30, or 10:30am with a bye on June 13th and July 4th, ending on July 18th.

Small Fry League is an instructional league designed to teach girls the game of softball. This is a coach-pitch league and 10″ softballs are used. No scores are kept. Games are played weekday evening on Tuesday and Friday, with 1-2 games per week on the East diamond. Season will end July 17th. No games will be played on 4th of July weekend.

Games will begin in May, and practices begin 3 weeks before games. This is the first league where girls pitch to each other with coaches’ help. Pitching distance is 35′ and 10″ softballs are used. Coaches pick teams using a draft system. Games are played weekday evenings on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 or 7:15pm on the East diamond. Tournament play will be July 6th-10th. No games will be played on Memorial day weekend.

Prep League is for current fourth and fifth-grade girls. Pitching distance is 40′ and 11″ softballs are used. Coaches pick teams using a draft system. Games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 or 7:30pm on the West diamond. Tournament play will be July 6th-10th. No games will be played on Memorial day weekend.

This league is for girls currently in sixth and seventh grades. Pitching distance is 43′ and 12″ softballs are used. Coaches pick teams using a draft system. Games are played at 5:30 and 7:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays on the West diamond. Tournament play will be July 6th-10th. No games will be played on Memorial day weekend.

NO LEAGUE IN 2025 DUE TO LOW REGISTRATION. This league is being offered to 8th – 11th grade high school players. We need a minimum of 30 registrations for this league to go forward. Regulation 12″ softballs are used. Pitching distance is 43″.
