Effingham Park District provides kids of all ages & abilities the opportunity to learn and develop a love for the great American game.

Evergreen Hollow Park or Community Park
fee: $30 in District (must reside in city), $60 Out of District
T-Ball develops the primary baseball skills of hitting, fielding, and throwing. Official tee-balls are used and the bases are 50′. This is a coach-pitch/tee league and all games are played on Saturday mornings. League goes until July 18th with a bye week on June 13th and July 4th.

Community Park – Gene A. Niccum and Small Fry Fields
fee: $30 In District (must reside in city), $60 Out of District
Small Fry League is an instructional league designed to teach boys the game of baseball. No scores are kept. This is a coach-pitch league and Level 5 baseballs are used. Will have a games at Gene A. Niccum and Small Fry field on Mondays and Thursday, will play 1-2 games per week at 6pm or 7pm.

Khoury League is your child’s first experience with baseball competition. The teams are formed by a draft system which volunteer coaches will choose. Level 10 baseballs are used and the pitching and base distances are 46′ and 60′ respectively. Games are played on weekday evenings at 5:30 or 7pm. Tournament will be July 6th-10th, weather permitting.

fee: $40 In District (must reside in city limits), $70 Out of District
Official Little League baseballs are used and pitching and base distances are 50′ and 70′ respectively. The teams are formed by a draft system chosen by volunteer coaches. Will have 1-2 games per week, playing weekday evenings (T-Th) at 5:30 or 7:30pm. Tournament play will begin July 6th-10th, tentatively.

fee: $40 In District (must reside in city limits), $70 Out of District
Games are played at Evergreen Park on weekday evenings at 5:30 or 7:30pm. Pitching distance is 54′ and bases are 80′ Regulation baseballs are used. Coaches pick teams using a draft format. Tournament play will begin July 13th.

Community Park – Paul Smith Field
fee: $40 In District (must reside in city limits); $70 Out of District
NO LEAGUE IN 2025 DUE TO LOW REGISTRATION. This league is for current 8th, 9th, & 10th-grade boys. Players do not have to be on their high school or junior high teams to participate. Teams are formed by a draft system chosen by volunteer coaches. Regulation baseballs are used. Pitching distance is 60′ 6″ and bases are 90′. We will do everything we can to make the league happen, but unfortunately, sometimes the numbers do not allow it. You will be notified and refunds will be processed if we are unable to make it work.
