Youth Baseball
Effingham Park District provides kids of all ages & abilities the opportunity to learn and develop a love for the great American game.

Evergreen Hollow Park or Community Park
fee: $30 in District (must reside in city), $60 Out of District
T-Ball develops the primary baseball skills of hitting, fielding, and throwing. Official tee-balls are used and the bases are 50′. This is a coach-pitch league and all games are played on Saturday mornings.

Small Fry League is an instructional league designed to teach boys the game of baseball. No scores are kept. This is a coach-pitch league and Level 5 baseballs are used. Will also have a few games at Gene A. Niccum Field.

begins: May 1, 2024

fee: $40 In District (must reside in city); $70 Out of District
Khoury League is your child’s first experience with baseball competition. The teams are formed by a draft system. Level 10 baseballs are used and the pitching and base distances are 46′ and 60′ respectively.

Official Little League baseballs are used and pitching and base distances are 50′ and 70′ respectively. The teams are formed by a draft system.

begins: May 31, 2024

Evergreen Hollow Park or Teutopolis Junior High
fee: $40 In District (must reside in city limits), $70 Out of District
Games are played at Evergreen Park with one or two games being played at Teutopolis Junior High. Pitching distance is 54′ and bases are 80′ Regulation baseballs are used. Coaches pick teams using a draft format.

ages: 8th, 9th, & 10th grade boys
begins: June 5, 2024

fee: $40 In District (must reside in city limits); $70 Out of District
This league is for current 8th, 9th, & 10th-grade boys. Teams are formed by a draft system. Regulation baseballs are used. Pitching distance is 60′ 6″ and bases are 90′.
